As we all know, the year 2020 is a year like no other. A year that threw up a health challenge which brought the whole world to its knees. The pandemic precipitated the lockdown of social and economic activities across the world.
At this very moment, it feels especially important to express our hopes and dreams for the better days ahead in 2021. in light of this hope, Hibret school presented a new year’s eve zoom talent show program on Dec 31, 2020. In addition to the show , we also had an opportunity to pay a tribute to the late W/ro Tsehay Megerssa and Ato Bahitha Mellese.
Hibret school students enthusiastically participated in various aspects of group and individual talent show performances. The students shined with their presentations that include, Cultural Ethiopian dance, playing Modern musical instruments, poem reading, exhibiting gymnastics and soccer skills, group and individual singing, solving the Rubik’s cube and other which was suitable to our audiences. The show was an exciting display and showcase of our students’ talent, and also was a great opportunity to share any cultural tradition or talents our kids may have. I am so proud of all your accomplishments this year, and I just can’t wait to see what you do in the next.
