Hibret Cultural School Society ( HCSS ) celebrates the 2024 Black History month with the theme : “Black Excellence: A Heritage to Celebrate; a Future to Build” through the enriching experience of storytelling from the hearts of Africa.

HCSS in association with http://www.storytimewithme.ca facilitates a family friendly event and invites the local community to engage in a lively blend of activities, which includes ,storytelling, music, traditional dance, arts and crafts, cultural displays and delicious cuisine.

This event is a unique opportunity to educate and inspire by highlighting the contribution of Black communities to society while showcasing the rich heritage and tradition of Africa. Through narratives of friendship, resilience, and community, we come together to honour Black Culture and foster lasting connections.

Hibret Cultural School Society will look forward to expanding this celebration for Black History Month of 2025, offering even more opportunity for learning ,cultural exchange, and community building.
